FSE301: Fall '24
During the fall 2024 semester, I had the opportunity to enroll in the FSE301 course, titled Entrepreneur and Value Creation. This class exposed me to various skills, most importantly to develop an entrepreneur mindset. I have learned how to collaborate with my fellow peers, to gain new ideas, and present my venture pitch idea.
Throughout the semester, I had the chance to develop and present a venture pitch, which was a key component of the course. This experience taught me how to articulate my ideas effectively and to advocate for my vision with clarity and confidence. Overall, the FSE301 course has shaped my entrepreneurial journey and has provided tools and insights needed to navigate the landscape of value creation.
With a strong passion for health and fitness, I created a venture project aimed at motivating individuals to workout in a safe and supportive environment. Recognizing the importance of holistic well-being, my initiative also emphasizes the promotion of healthy eating habits, as nutrition plays a crucial role in achieving overall fitness goals.
This project is particularly aligned with my focus on the health theme within the Grand Challenges Scholars Program. Within this course, I have gained valuable insights into the multifaceted challenges facing our health systems and communities. My venture not only addresses the immediate need for accessible fitness opportunities but also seeks to cultivate a culture of wellness that encourages sustainable lifestyle changes.
From this experience, I have been able to translate the skills I have acquired into multiple facets of my academic and professional career. The lessons I learned have influenced the way I approach assignments and tasks, allowing me to adopt a creative and entrepreneurial mindset.
